How to Fix Buffering and Freezing: 7 Quick Checks

Most buffering problems come from the home network or the device, not the service. Go through these checks in order.

1. Restart everything

Turn off your TV box and router for 30 seconds, then turn them back on. This fixes most problems.

2. Test your speed

You need at least 10 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K. Lower speeds cause buffering.

3. Switch to a wired connection

An Ethernet cable is far more stable than Wi-Fi, especially for live sport.

4. Clear the app cache

On Android and Firestick go to Settings → Applications → your player app → Clear cache.

5. Lower the quality

If your connection is slow in the evening, pick the HD version of a channel instead of 4K.

6. Check for other users

Make sure you aren’t using more screens than your plan allows. Extra streams can cut the connection.

7. Contact support

Still buffering? Send us the channel name and your device on WhatsApp at +44 7988 579710. We monitor the servers 24/7 and reply fast.
